Everything we do in life is based on relationship & interaction with people.

For this topic, I would like to highlight 3 points that might be of interest to you to increase your collaboration:

– Improving engagement and communication amongst team members. I believe if you facilitate collaboration, that the outcome is greater than the sum of the individual IQ.

– I would encourage collaboration wherever possible. Is it with a client to better understand their needs when closing a deal, a partner that can provide you some insight into other dynamics or even competitors. I am in the coaching consulting business, I don’t see other suppliers as competitors but potentially as partners.

– In collaboration, trust is important. You need to build and gain that trust amongst your clients, partners before reaching an agreement.

To conclude, I would embrace collaboration as much as possible over dominating meetings.
